RE projects to get extension of time: MNRE Secretary

New Delhi: Renewable Energy projects under implementation will be given extension of time considering period of lockdown and time required for re-mobilisation of work force, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) Secretary Anand Kumar said.

Kumar made the announcement through a tweet following Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi’s announcement for a complete lockdown across the country for 21 days from Tuesday midnight, asserting that it was “very necessary to break the chain of coronavirus infection.”
