‘Rare privilege’ to own and operate Air India: Tata Sons

Tata Sons who won the bid for Air India on Friday called it a ‘rare privilege to now own and operate the ‘country’s flag bearer airline.

The conglomerate said though would take considerable effort to rebuild Air India but it provides the Tata Group with a very strong opportunity. “It will be our endeavour to build a world-class airline which makes every Indian proud,” the official press release said.
