Rakes of Metro 9 to be parked at Charkop depot

The rakes to be operational under Phase 1 of the underconstruction Metro 9 (Dahisar-Mira Road-Bhayander) project – which includes Dahisar East, Pandurang Wadi, Amar Palace and Kashigaon Zankar stations – will be maintained at the Charkop depot, MMRDA Commissioner S V R Srinivas said on Thursday.

At present, the Charkop depot maintains rakes of Metro 2A (Dahisar-DN Ngaar) and 7 (Dahisar East-Andheri East). The depot for Metro 9 is set to come up at Uttan.
