Rajasthan: Compost plant for Muhana mandi, solar power for agro mkts
Jaipur: Chief minister Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday gave a nod to projects under which all the agricultural produce markets in the state will be lit by solar power and Muhana mandi will get a compost plant.
The plan is to make these agriculture markets self-sufficient and to create a sanitized environment at Muhana mandi, which is one of the largest agricultural markets in the state. For the Muhana mandi project, a compost machine will be installed and Rs 33 crore has been sanctioned. This will help to utilise all the solid waste generated at the mandi and will help to keep the premises clean.
