Railways to run premium trains between Chennai and Mysuru on all days
CHENNAI: Travellers will have a premium train service between Chennai and Mysuru via Bengaluru daily from December. Now, Shatabdi Express and Vande Bharat trains do not run on Wednesdays.
South Western Railway will operate No 12007/12008 Chennai-Mysuru-Chennai Shatabdi Express six days a week excluding Thursday, instead of Wednesday, with effect from December 20.
Earlier, there was no Shatabdi service on Wednesdays. With the revised schedule, passengers will now have the option to travel on the Shatabdi Express on all days except Thursdays. On Thursday, they can use the Vande Bharat service.
