Railways, freight corridor firm setting up real-time network to avert accidents

The railways ministry and Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) are establishing real-time communication systems to minimise the damage caused by train derailments. A key focus of these proposed systems is to curb the threat of infringement of DFCCIL track due to derailment of Indian Railways (IR) track or vice versa.
