Railways conducts trial run of Vande Bharat Express train from Hyderabad to Bengaluru

BENGALURU: Indian Railways conducted a trial run of Vande Bharat Express train from Hyderabad to Bengaluru, on Thursday. The train covered the distance of 610 km in 7.5 hours.

The train left Kacheguda at 5.30 am and reached Yeshwanthpur station in Bengaluru around 1.15 pm. In the return direction, the train left Bengaluru at around 2 pm. The new train has a composition of eight cars.

Additional Divisional Railway Manager of Bengaluru Division Kusuma Hariprasad told ToI that the trial run was successful from Hyderabad to Bengaluru.
