Railway committee to probe teacher’s electrocution at New Delhi station

NEW DELHI: The Northern Railway has announced the formation of a committee to investigate the incident that occurred at the New Delhi Railway station resulting in the electrocution of a woman teacher.

In addition, the railway is currently conducting a comprehensive safety audit of all electrical installations across its stations.

The incident occurred on Sunday morning near gate number 1 as Sakshi Ahuja was en route to board a train bound for Chandigarh.
