Punjab Power situation ‘dire’, office timings curtailed
With the state reeling under an unprecedented power shortage amid extreme temperatures, Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh today ordered curtailment in timings of state government offices from tomorrow, and cutting down on power supply to high energy consuming industries with immediate effect in a bid to save crops and ease the domestic power situation.
