Pune railway division pushes ₹398 crore yard re-modelling plan

The Pune division of the Central Railway (CR) has initiated yard re-modelling work at Pune railway station in a phased manner as part of a major infrastructure upgrade, aimed at easing congestion and improving operational efficiency.

Addressing a press conference, divisional railway manager Rajesh Kumar Verma said that works worth around ₹398 crore have been sanctioned, including addition of six new platforms, extension of existing platforms, and development of additional entry and exit points equipped with modern passenger amenities.
