Pune airport operational, reopens after 14 days
The Pune airport, which had been closed to civilian traffic for the past 14 days, has reopened for business today.
Officials claim that “In a world record time of 14 days, the Military Engineering Services (MES) resurfaced a segment of the runway at the Pune Airport. Previously, comparable work would take 28-35 days. Today, flight operations were resumed.”
