PSPCL lineman held for graft

Chandigarh: The Punjab vigilance bureau on Thursday nabbed a lineman of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL), Mohinder Kumar, posted at Khui Khera in Fazilka district, for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 40,000. The accused lineman was arrested on the complaint of consumer Pardeep Kumar, a resident of Bazidpur Kattianwali village, who runs a milk booth in his village. A case under the Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered against the accused lineman at the vigilance bureau’s police station in the Ferozepur range.
