PSPCL fully geared up to meet 13k MW peak demand in ensuing paddy season, says Venu Prasad

Punjab’s power utility, Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL), is fully geared up for the peak demand, estimated to be 13,000 megawatt, during the ensuing paddy season.

“PSPCL has made the best elaborate power arrangements for the coming paddy season. In order to achieve and ensure supply to agriculture consumers, PSPCL has also strengthened its electrical infrastructure of the villages,” said the PSPCL chairma-cum-managing director (CMD) A Venu Prasad. He also assured that all power consumers of Punjab would be provided continued, uninterrupted, and quality power supply.

Giving details, Prasad said that PSPCL has made arrangements to meet more than 13,000 MW peak demand during the forthcoming paddy season.
