Protests over power crisis in Bassi Pathana

SAD and BSP workers, led by their respective Halka in-charge, held dharnas outside the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited offices in protest against “acute power shortage” in rural areas of the state.

The protestors claimed that the government had failed to provide eight hours of regular power supply to the rural sector in the prevailing hot and humid weather.
