Private jets, copters join campaigns as Covid restrictions ease

Demand for business jets and helicopters from political parties to ferry their leaders to various election campaign sites is on the rise with the Election Commission easing restrictions on physical campaigning in five poll-bound states.

Cost of these flying birds range between Rs 125,000 and Rs 400,000 lakh per hour depending on the equipment (see graphics), people involved in this business told ET.
