Priority lending, subsidies, incentives on EV industry’s budget wish list

Electric vehicle (EV) posted healthy growth in 2021 across segments, both twowheelers and cars. Though the number are still very small compared to the combustion engine vehicle industry, but the breakneck developments in the sector promise rapid growth going ahead. The industry feels a helping hand from the government can hasten adoption and growth. Nehal Chaliawala reports.
