Priority landing of chartered carrying Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi at Bhopal airport

BHOPAL: A private chartered flying from Bengaluru to New Delhi carrying senior Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi made a priority landing at Bhopal’s Raja Bhoj airport around 7.45 pm on Monday. In all, 7 people were flying in the chartered.

Airport officials told TOI that the pilot requested for priority landing at Bhopal airport.

Officials said that both will fly back to New Delhi by Bhopal-New Delhi Indigo flight by 9.30 pm.

Several Congress leaders in Bhopal rushed to the airport after they landed at Bhopal airport.
