Prakash Industries bids highest for Bhaskarpara mine
Prakash IndustriesNSE 3.02 % on Wednesday emerged as the highest bidder for Bhaskarpara coal mine in Chhattisgarh with a quote of Rs 1100 per tonne.
This is the third mine to have been bid out in the latest tranche of auctions. The Bhaskarpara in Chhattisgarh with 24.06 million tonne of extractable reserves was awarded to Crest Steel and Power for a winning bid of Rs 755 a tonne. The company had pipped Jindal Steel and PowerNSE 2.26 % and Godawari Natural Resources for the block but later on surrendered it, sources said.
