Power ministry backs pvt cos in nuclear power space with safeguards: RK Singh

The power ministry supports entry of the private sector in nuclear energy as India eyes an increase in generation capacity to meet surging demand. In an interview, Union power minister RK Singh also said his ministry had initiated discussions with equipment manufacturers to support thermal capacity creation.
