Power Grid tanks 8%, declines for seventh straight session

Shares of state-owned electric power transmission company Power Grid Corporation NSE 1.59 % declined for the seventh straight trading session on Monday as they cracked as much as 8 per cent.

At 10.54 am, the scrip was trading at 7.21 per cent lower at Rs 188 over its last day’s closing price of Rs 202.60 a piece. The stock has fallen nearly 20 per cent in the last week while it has declined about 12 per cent in the past six weeks.
