Power generation to generate additional revenue: Minister
Inaugurating a 2 MW power generation power plant at Maa Mahamaya Sugar Factory at Kerta, Chhattisgarh Cooperative Minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam said it will generate Rs 1 crore additional income each month to the factory.
The generation of 2 MW is one more achievement for the sugar factory. It will benefit the factory and farmers, an official communication quoted him as saying.
He said it is the third power plant for the area. Work has also been undertaken to establish an ethanol plant in the factory premises.
