Power Finance Corporation Ltd. shares gain 1.74% as Sensex rises
Shares of Power Finance Corporation NSE 1.82 % Ltd. traded 1.74 per cent up at Rs 117.25 at 10:47AM (IST) on Monday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex gained 140.33 points to 45219.88.
The stock had closed at Rs 115.25 in the previous session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 133.3 and 52-week low of Rs 74.2, respectively. As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 10:47AM (IST) stood at 66353 shares with a turnover of Rs 0.77 crore.
At the prevailing price, shares of the company traded at 3.44 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 34.08 per share and 0.49 times its price-to-book value, exchange data showed.
A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future.
