Power Company HQ fire to be probed
Government of Chhattisgarh in an order has issued a probe by a three member inter-departmental committee into a fire incident in Chhattisgarh State Power Company Headquarters recently.
The three-member inter-departmental panel will be chaired by principal secretary home, Panchayat and rural development Subrat Sahoo while director general fire services, Chhattisgarh V. K. Singh and Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company managing director Mohammed Qaiser Abdul Haque will be members.
As per the order issued by General Administration Department on Saturday, the different aspects of incident will be probed. The panel will submit its report within a month.
The fire at the Chhattisgarh Power Company headquarters broke out on November 13 midnight.
