Power boost: CM’s district to get 13 more substations

The Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) is upgrading the power infrastructure in Karnal district by setting up 13 new substations of 33 kV.

These substations are expected to be functional before the coming paddy sowing season. Besides, the capacity of five substations, including those on Hansi Road, Dabri, Budanpur, Newal and Rahravillages, is being upgraded, which as per the officials will help in ensuring uninterrupted power supply to households.
