‘Power bill scam’: Staff threaten stir in Himachal

The Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Ltd (HPSEBL) Employees’ Association has criticised the board management for allegedly shielding the officials, who had been found guilty of causing a huge financial loss to the board exchequer by extending undue benefits to a Kullu-based company during 2014-15.

Kuldeep Kharwara, state president of the association, in a statement here today threatened to launch an agitation.
