Potholes on roads behind accidents, says CPI-ML

The Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) expressed grief over the death of devotees in the tractor-trolley accident in Kanpur Nagar and asked the state government when the roads in Uttar Pradesh would be free of potholes.

In a statement, CPI-ML state secretary Sudhakar Yadav said the government had announced the time frame to cover/fill the potholes in the roads in the past but none of the roads were repaired.

“During the rain, the roads have suffered further damages and it is impossible for any person to drive safely on these roads.
