Potholes, footpath issues resolved, BBMP tells Karnataka HC
The BBMP on Tuesday submitted to the High Court of Karnataka that it had resolved issues pertaining to 101 streets and 642 footpaths.
A division bench headed by Chief Justice Abhay Shreeniwas Oka directed the Karnataka State Legal Services Authority (KSLSA) to visit some of the streets and submit a report.
BBMP Commissioner N Manjunatha Prasad submitted an affidavit before the court regarding the issue.
The bench directed the BBMP to provide specific locations and other details of the streets and footpaths to KSLSA.
“The secretary of the KSLSA, with cooperation of all the stakeholders, will visit the roads or footpaths by making random selections and ascertain whether the claim made in the affidavit is correct.
