Potholed & ignored — tale of stretch from Golden Gate to Bhandari bridge

Considered as the lifeline of Amritsar, the main entrance road of holy city further leading to elevated road has been left in hands of fate, ignored by the MC and leads only to people’s woes.

While the road is dotted with some big potholes near the Mall of Amritsar, it is also a bumpy ride for the two-wheelers due to its uneven surface. Fortunately, the condition of elevated road is somewhat better but if someone travels from beneath it, one has to face pounds of dust because of new under construction road dividers.
