PM Modi to lay foundation stone to revamp 508 railway stations
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday will lay the foundation stone for redevelopment of 508 railway stations across the country.
An official statement said these stations will be redeveloped under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme at an estimated cost of over ₹ 24,470 crore. “Master Plans (are) being prepared for development of stations as ‘City Centres’ with proper integration of both sides of the city,” the statement said.
