PM Modi to dedicate Rewa Solar Project on July 10

Madhya Pradesh leads in solar energy production in the country. The world’s biggest projects include the Rewa Solar Project. The 750 MW Rewa Solar Project costing about 4,000 crore has already started production with its full capacity. Apart from this, six projects of five thousand MW are under construction. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Project to the nation through video conferencing on July 10. About 8 hundred people are getting employment through this project.

It may be mentioned that in context to Rewa Solar project, the Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Co. Ltd. was formed in a joint venture of Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam and Solar Energy Corporation of India.
