PM Modi flags off Odisha’s second Vande Bharat Express, train to run on Puri-Rourkela route

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday flagged off a Vande Bharat Express on the Puri–Rourkela route through video conferencing.

This was Odisha’s second Vande Bharat Express as the first semi-high-speed train service from Puri to Howrah was inaugurated in May.

Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and several MLAs graced the occasion at the Bhubaneswar railway station.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw was also present at the programme virtually.
