PHD Chamber hails Guv Admin for getting approval for civilian flights from Awantipora airfield
PHD Chamber-Kashmir has lauded the efforts of Governor Administration for getting the clearance and approval for operation of civilian flights from Awantipora airfield under UDAAN Regional connectivity Scheme.
In an statement, PHD Chamber Kashmir chapter, Chairman Mushtaq Ahmad Chaya said, in July 2018 PHD Chamber Kashmir Chapter had a meeting with Advisor Vijay Kumar wherein issues of exorbitant air fare was discussed and was suggested to bring Un-served Awantipora Airport and Old Airport Rangreth under Regional Connectivity Scheme (UDAN-RCS) in which the Civil Aviation Policy had capped the passenger fares for flight journeys from un-served airports at Rs 2500 per hour of flying for around 500 KM.
