PGCIL puts on hold laying of overhead transmission lines in Rajasthan over SC ruling
The laying of overhead transmission lines of Power Grid Corporation of India NSE -0.48 %’s (PGCIL) three power projects in Rajasthan has been put on hold after the Supreme Court’s ruling that such lines should be laid underground in the habitat of the critically endangered Great Indian Bustard in parts of Rajasthan and Gujarat.
