Petroleum Secretary clears air on GAIL disinvestment, lays out blueprint to push Atmanirbhar in oil

ET Now: Talks are doing the rounds about possible GAIL disinvestment. So, bifurcation, privatisation — what is the government’s plan?
Tarun Kapoor: GAIL NSE 0.33 % is not part of any disinvestment plan. The only thing being done — there was also a budget announcement about it — is that an independent TSO will be set up.
