Petrol price at 5-month low. Check today’s petrol, diesel rates in top cities
NEW DELHI : Petrol and diesel prices were left untouched for the second consecutive day today. Amid a slump in crude oil rates, petrol prices are at a 5-month low while diesel rate are at a 7-month low.
In New Delhi, a litre of petrol is being sold for ₹72.01, diesel ₹64.70. In Mumbai, petrol costs ₹ ₹77.67 a litre and diesel ₹67.80. Those in Bengaluru will have to pay ₹74.46 for a litre of petrol and ₹66.89 for diesel. In Chennai, a litre of petrol costs ₹74.81 and diesel ₹68.32.
Petrol and diesel rates were on a declining trend till Sunday when prices were hiked by 5-7 paise a litre each.
