Petrol, diesel prices have not fallen even once in 3 weeks. Check today’s rates
NEW DELHI : Although left unchanged today, the price of petrol and diesel have not fallen in over three weeks. Amid volatility in crude oil rates recently, state-run fuel retailers left petrol, diesel prices unchanged today.
In Delhi, a litre of petrol costs ₹74.61, Bengaluru ₹77.10, Mumbai ₹80.21, Chennai ₹77.50, Hyderabad ₹79.25, Kolkata ₹77.23 and Gurgaon ₹74.41. A litre of diesel, on the other hand, costs ₹67.49 in Delhi, Bengaluru ₹69.74, Mumbai ₹70.76, Chennai ₹71.30, Kolkata ₹69.85, Hyderabad ₹73.51 and Gurgaon ₹66.55.
Fuel prices had last fallen on September 8, more than three weeks ago. The recent spike in petrol, diesel rates began from September 17, days after drone attacks affected Saudi Arabia’s oil supply.
