Petrol, diesel price cut today. Check latest rates
NEW DELHI : As crude oil rates fail to come out a bear market, petrol and diesel prices were cut once again today. Fuel rates have maintained a declining trend since February 27 and were left unchanged yesterday. Petrol price was cut by 15 paise a litre today and diesel price by 12 paise a litre.
So far this month, the price of petrol has dropped by ₹1.75 a litre and that of diesel by ₹1.62 a litre.
In Delhi, a litre of petrol is priced at ₹70.14 per litre and diesel at ₹62.89 per litre. In Mumbai, petrol is selling at ₹75.84 per litre and diesel at ₹65.84 per litre. In Chennai, a litre of petrol will cost ₹72.86 per litre whereas diesel is now priced at ₹66.35 per litre. In Bengaluru, petrol is now selling at ₹72.54 and diesel at ₹65.04. In Hyderabad, petrol pumps are charging ₹74.56 for petrol and ₹68.47 for diesel. If you are in Gurgaon, you will have to shell out ₹70.64 for petrol and ₹62.59 for diesel.
