Petrol, diesel become cheaper: Check rates here

Petrol and diesel prices fell on Tuesday as international oil prices cooled on prospects of speedy recovery in consumption getting clouded by the second wave of Covid-19 cases.

After the recent cut, petrol price in Delhi now stands at Rs 90.56, down 22 paise as against Rs 90.78 on Monday. Diesel in the capital has now become cheaper by 23 paise to Rs 80.87 against Rs 81.10 yesterday.

In Mumbai, the petrol price was cut to Rs 96.98 a litre while diesel rates were reduced to Rs 80.87, the price notification showed. Petrol prices in Kolkata and Chennai dropped to Rs 90.77 and Rs 92.58 respectively. Whereas, diesel price in Kolkata came down to Rs 83.75 and in Chennai to 85.88.
