Penalty of Rs 65 lakh imposed on 10 firms in Greater Noida for negligence, incomplete work
Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority CEO Ritu Maheshwari on Saturday imposed a total penalty of Rs 45 lakh on nine firms for negligence in civil and horticultural works. In addition, a penalty of Rs 20 lakh was also imposed on Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India (DFCCIL) for not completing work on a 130-metre stretch near Tilpata.
Due to non-maintenance of roads and central verges in Work Circle 7, the CEO has instructed to give adverse entries to the senior manager, manager as well as four assistant managers in charge of the work.
