Passengers with other Emirates resident visa barred from entering Dubai
MANGALURU: Expats in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) who had returned to India for holidays and exigencies are now in serious trouble with the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA), UAE, announcing that only passengers having Dubai Resident Visa and having GDRFA approval are permitted to arrive into Dubai Airport.
Passengers having other Emirates Resident Visas are not permitted to arrive into Dubai Airport. Indian carrier Air India Express updated revised guidelines for travel from India to UAE on Friday.
Other Emirates Resident Visa Holders arriving into UAE, apart from Dubai, now will have to submit a request through the website of the Federal authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) for the necessary approval.
