Partial divestment in BPCL unlikely, government to make fresh attempt

NEW DELHI: A partial disinvestment of government stake in BPCL is unlikely, a top government functionary said on Wednesday.
“A partial selloff doesn’t work… ,” the functionary said in response to aReuters report on Tuesday, saying the government was considering selling part of its 53% stake in the company. “The sale is not cancelled.
