Paradip refinery to be shut for 3 weeks
The refinery plant of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) at Paradip would be closed for 22 days to carry out maintenance work, informed Jagatsinghpur Collector Sangram Keshari Mohapatra on Saturday.
The refinery would remain shut from July 25 to August 15. During this period, Section 144 CrPC would remain in force around the plant to prevent congregation, the Collector said.
The decision was taken by both the district administration and the IOCL authorities as maintenance work of the refinery has not been carried out since the year 2018.
