Pandemic, land acquisition delay 29 NH projects in Punjab

As many as 29 national highway (NH) projects in Punjab are delayed due to various reasons such as the Covid pandemic, delay in land acquisition, utility shifting and forest clearances. At present, 33 national highway projects in Punjab are under construction. The total length of national highways under execution is 580.49 km and the total project cost is around Rs 5,573.60 crore.
