Paid for business class but made to fly economy? You may be compensated soon

The aviation regulator, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), said on Friday that it will put in place norms to compensate a passenger whose ticket for a particular class has been involuntarily downgraded by an airline.

The move comes after multiple complaints from passengers that despite booking business class tickets, they were made to fly economy as seats were broken or there was a change of aircraft.
