Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) left petrol and diesel rates unchanged, even though international crude oil prices saw a decline.
Global crude oil prices have been seeing continuous changes in the past month. In July itself, crude oil prices were initially at $70 a barrel, and then rose to $77 per barrel.
Within the same month, crude oil prices fell below $70 per barrel and then crossed $75 a barrel. This however, was not taken into consideration by OMCs as they left prices unchanged for the 22nd day in a row.
