Okinawa in talks to raise $100 million for third manufacturing plant
New Delhi: Electric two-wheeler maker Okinawa Autotech is in advanced talks to raise $100 million (about ₹800 crore) from private equity firms and a deal is likely to be signed shortly, said managing director Jeetender Sharma.
He said the funds will be deployed to commission its third manufacturing facility, which will have a total installed capacity of one million units, to develop new products and to manufacture powertrains indigenously.
