In a tragic incident on Sunday, a speeding oil tanker crushed 80 sheep and injured two shepherds on the Udaipur-Pindwara Highway, according to the police. The accident took place near Badi Guda on national highway-27 when the driver lost control of the vehicle due to brake failure, a TOI report stated.
The shepherds, who were transporting a flock of sheep from Sirohi to Madhya Pradesh, were rushed to the hospital. Sadly, one of them is reported to be in critical condition. The collision caused the carcasses of the sheep to scatter on the road, while mustard oil spilled onto the highway from the overturned tanker. This resulted in a long traffic jam.
