Oil slips despite high OPEC+ compliance
LONDON: Oil prices slipped on Tuesday after holding steady earlier in the session, as demand fears weighed despite high compliance with production cuts from members of the OPEC+ producer group.
Brent crude was 22 cents, or 0.5%, lower at $45.15 a barrel by 1352 GMT, having gained 1.3% on Monday. U.S. crude slid by 41 cents, or 1%, to $42.48 after a rise of 2.1% in the previous session.
