Off-duty TTE urinates on woman passenger, arrested

After the infamous ‘pee-gate’ onboard an Air India flight, a railway ticket collector, said to be tipsy, allegedly urinated on a woman passenger on board the Akal Takht train on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday. He was caught by passengers after the woman and her husband raised an alarm at the Charbagh railway station in Lucknow. He was later booked by the GRP for molesting, browbeating and insulting the woman by his act.

“Zero tolerance. Removal from service with immediate effect,” Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw tweeted.
