Odisha may get 2nd Vande Bharat
Odisha is likely to get a second Vande Bharat Express train soon, said Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw here on Thursday.
Addressing a gathering at the Puri railway station on the occasion of flagging off of Puri-Howrah Vande Bharat Express, the Minister said, “A second Vande Bharat Express train in Odisha is likely to run on the Puri-Bhubaneswar-Cuttack-Angul-Rourkela route.”
He also said that there are plans to introduce Vande Metro service for the Puri-Bhubaneswar-Cuttack route.
After Vande Bharat, Vande Metro and Vande Sleeper trains would become operational, said Vaishnaw.
